The Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches held its annual conference at First Baptist Church in Creston, Iowa. This year’s annual conference highlighted Iowa’s pastors and missionaries as main speakers and workshop leaders. Missionaries John and Bev Leonard shared that they had just received medical clearance to return to Brazil this May following an almost successful assassination attempt on John less than two years ago. The IARBC shard, “All of our fellowship opportunities at the conference were great, as always. We especially enjoy providing a Welcome Dinner with all of our new pastors and wives.” A special treat Monday evening was the introduction of Dr. James Maxwell as the new president of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary.
