CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.—Graduates who earned bachelor of religious education degrees from Baptist Bible College may now exchange their diplomas for bachelor of science in Bible diplomas. Baptist Bible College awarded BRE degrees from 1954 through 1982. It was the generally accepted bachelor’s degree in the field at that time. The bachelor of science in Bible degree has been awarded since. It is a more readily recognized degree.

Alumni who have earned BREs may exchange their degrees for a BS in Bible by completing an online form and sending in a copy of the original BRE diploma. In exchanging the degree, BBC&S will specially craft the new diploma with the same signatures as the original one. The cost is $25. Details are on the BBC&S Alumni website. Those with questions may contact the Registrar’s Office at 570-585-9216 or e-mail kkirby@bbc.edu.

Baptist Bible College and Seminary offers 38 academic programs, from a one-year Bible certificate to PhDs. Programs are available on the Clarks Summit, Pa., campus online, and through several distance-learning options. To learn more, go to www.bbc.edu or call 570-586-2400.
