Cruise Time!

FROM THE CARIBBEAN—Senior saints from Maranatha Village in Sebring, Florida, and from the Empire State (New York) Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches came together January 13-19 to enjoy Christian fellowship via a cruise on Royal Caribbean’s magnificent ship Radiance of the Seas. The group of 212 loved the tropical weather, the smooth sailing, the elegant dining, and the awesome ports of Key West; Cazumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; and Jamaica.

Five pastors challenged and encouraged the saints with the Word of God during the morning chapel hour. Many in the group had opportunity to share their faith with other passengers. Everyone on board seemed to be aware of this “church” group. A violinist and a guitarist from the Philippines, Dick and Teddy, provided unexpected blessings that most on the tour thought to be the highlight of the cruise. Dick and Teddy serenaded the group with gospel songs throughout the trip, and also played and gave their testimonies during Friday’s chapel.
