Church Celebrates Major Remodeling

NEWTON, Iowa—Harmony and unity amid a major remodeling has brought great blessing and encouragement to the people of Immanuel Baptist Church. Most of the long list of projects was accomplished by the church family: replacing all the windows in the church, insulating and adding Sheetrock to all the exterior main floor walls, replacing the light fixtures with high-efficiency white lights for better reading, adding a handicapped restroom, remodeling the existing restrooms, installing new carpeting, and changing décor.

On a Sunday afternoon, the church family, along with a number of guests, celebrated and dedicated the work done, reflecting upon God’s faithfulness and gracious provision. The service included a PowerPoint presentation showing the progress from beginning to end. Joe Hayes, state representative of the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches, delivered the message and led in a dedicatory prayer for the facility as well as for the church family.
