MARYVILLE, Tenn.—Clarence Trego “Doc” Beale Jr., a retired pastor, died May 7. He was 74.
Doc graduated from Philadelphia College of Bible and Grace Theological Seminary. He was pastor of Pleasant Hill Chapel, Hunt Valley, Maryland; Mayking (Kentucky) Baptist Church; Wilton (California) Bible Church; and Lighthouse Baptist Church, Brentwood, California. After retiring, he served Springview Baptist Church and Little River Fellowship Baptist Church, both in Maryville, Tennessee. He also served on the council of the California Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
Bruce McLain, CARBC representative, says, “He was a great friend to many of us and a skilled leader in our fellowship.”
Doc is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; two daughters, Cindy Campbell and Karen Beale; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at East Maryville Baptist Church, Maryville, Tennessee, on Saturday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. with a time to receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m.
