Back-To-School Event in Breesport

BREESPORT, N.Y.—More than three hundred and New York teenagers have met at Breesport Baptist Church for an Empire State Fellowship activity called The Gathering, an end-of-summer activity designed to fire-up students for evangelism and godly living as they return to school.

In addition to music, videos, virtual puns and food, the teens were challenged from God’s Word by Jason Jackson, youth pastor of Heritage Baptist Church, Clarks Summit, Pa. The messages focused on a “Real Life Change” to live counter culturally, encouraging teens to be more effective at living and ministering in their homes, churches and schools.
