Camp Fairwood in Westfield, Wisconsin, held its annual Sweethearts Marriage Retreat on February 9 and 10. Weekend speaker Dr. Brian Trainer focused on expository teaching from Ephesians 4–6. His aim was to help couples better understand their roles as husband and wife, gain a deeper understanding of how God uses the marriage bond to demonstrate His love and plans for us, and grasp the necessity to model the faith and hope we have in Him to a fallen world.
Couples also enjoyed the crisp, clear winter weather on the camp’s 3 1/2 miles of snow-covered hiking and cross-country ski trails, and a social time, including hot chocolate in front of the roaring fireplace, and games.
