BARRON, Wis.—Students and leaders from 12 churches gathered at First Baptist Church for the Fifth Annual Unite Youth Rally—a day filled with activities, fellowship, food, music, and Bible teaching.

“The past four years God has worked through this youth rally to challenge, encourage, and even bring some to know Christ as their Savior,” says Kodiak Boersma, youth pastor at First Baptist Church. He says that “knowing what God has done in the past,” he was looking forward to what God would do this year.

At this year’s rally March 30, Charlie Carter, dean of men at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, spoke from Ephesians 4 on the importance of unity for growth, both in the church and in Christians’ personal lives. Breakout sessions throughout the day featured additional speakers who also challenged and encouraged the teens in their pursuit of Christ.

“All in all,” Boersma says, “the day aptly accomplished Unite’s goal and purpose: to bring students and churches of like faith together so that we can grow in Christ and the world will know that Jesus is Lord.”
