Ohio Women for Missions holds a basket auction to raise funds for camps.

SUGARCREEK, Ohio—Ohio Women for Missions enjoyed its annual retreat Nov. 11–12.

The group is a ministry of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches and exists to support, pray for, and promote missions. The women were excited to be together again after canceling last year’s retreat.

Meeting at the beautiful Carlisle Inn, the women heard from speaker Cecelia Weer.

Cecelia focused on the names of Christ as presented in the Scriptures and how the different names reveal His attributes that give us hope and confidence in crises and in everyday living.

Each year Ohio Women for Missions adopts a missions project to raise funds for. This year an annual basket auction and offering raised over $5,000. Added to the over $8,000 the group has already raised, the ladies are closing in on their goal of $15,000 to be divided among Camp Patmos, Scioto Hills Christian Camp and Retreat Center, and Skyview Ranch, partnering camps of the OARBC.
