Snow and Cold Were Welcome Elements for Winter Games

GRETNA, Neb.—Snow and cold: both were firsts in a long time for the Nebraska Association of Regular Baptist Churches’ Winter Games, says Shawn Rittmiller, pastor of Park Lake Baptist Church in Omaha.

Teens from GARBC churches around the state gathered at Gretna Baptist Church for the annual event’s outdoor and indoor games, including ice-skating and sledding at Mahoney State Park. Jeremy Penrod, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, Lincoln, Nebraska, spoke to the teens from Luke 9 about willingly following Christ.

Next on the NARBC teens’ agenda, Rittmiller says, is the all-night March Madness in Hastings.
