ElyriaOH_inlineCEDARVILLE, Ohio—Fifty-five senior adults from the Hebron Fellowship of churches took a chartered bus to visit Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Hebron Fellowship is a local group of Regular Baptist churches located in north central Ohio and is part of the statewide Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches, based in Cedarville.

The seniors’ trip May 11–15 was packed with fun each day. They enjoyed many family-friendly (and often Christian-based) shows, including the Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, Comedy Barn Theater, Biblical Times and Lumberjack Feud dinner theaters, and Blackwoods variety show. They also visited the Titanic museum, an aquarium, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, and the Smoky Mountain Ferris wheel and toured the beautiful Smoky Mountains with a Christian guide.

Dr. David and Pat Warren accompanied the seniors. David, state representative of the OARBC, shared devotions each day on Heaven that Craig Golden says were outstanding.

Craig is associate pastor of seniors at First Baptist Church, Elyria, Ohio. He and his wife, Shirley, were the directors of the trip. He says, “The five-day trip was so fantastic that the seniors couldn’t agree on any one event being the highlight. Everything was fabulous. . . . There was a whole lot of laughing, hand clapping, and toe tapping, as well as moments of awe and spiritual contemplation.”

The Goldens thank and praise God for a grand and glorious time and an unforgettable trip to the hills of Tennessee.
