GRAND HAVEN, Mich.—Lakeshore Baptist Church hosted its biennial SALT Women’s Conference on Oct. 6, 2018. The conference gets its name from Lakeshore Baptist’s women’s ministry and stands for “Serving And Learning Together.”

This year’s theme was “Cultivating a True Community of Grace.” The conference highlighted Holly Stratton as speaker. The wife of a former pastor and Christian college president, she ministers to others through speaking, writing, counseling, and blogging at lifehurts.us.

Holly spoke from the book of Titus during three solo sessions and then answered questions during the final session. Over 200 women from West Michigan—and even one brave soul all the way from Florida—enjoyed community, worship, and the Word together, reports Andy Davies, assistant to Pastor Nate Birkholz.

On top of the other activities, the ladies enjoyed many and varied door-prize giveaways. Throughout the day, ladies took the opportunity to browse a book table provided by Reformation Heritage Books, as well as mingle at lunch and around snacks and coffee.
