Rocky Mountain Churches Meet for Annual Conference

BOULDER, Colo.—The Rocky Mountain Association of Regular Baptist Churches met for its annual conference March 23–24 at South Boulder Bible Church.

The conference started off on a somber note, as a shooting had occurred the previous day about a mile from the church. Pastor Eric Ellis and several members of the church were friends of Officer Eric Talley, who was killed in the shooting.

“South Boulder Bible Church appreciates your prayers for our broken and hurting community,” Eric says.

The conference was also marked, however, by sweet fellowship, encouragement, and a challenge from the Word. Speaker Clare Jewell, director of Regular Baptist Builders Club, encouraged attendees to revitalize churches, disciple people seriously and intentionally, and show sacrificial hospitality.

Eric says, “All left uplifted and admonished to ‘fight the good fight’ [1 Timothy 6:12] in our increasingly dark society.”
