GREELEY, Colo.—The Rocky Mountain Association of Regular Baptist Churches held its annual conference March 21–22 at Reformation Baptist Church. Pastor Steven Ong and the church family were gracious hosts, says Stan Lightfoot of the Rocky Mountain association.

Mike Hess, GARBC national representative, spoke on “The DNA of a Disciplemaker,” from John 13—17. He also presented his vision for the GARBC. “Mike is an excellent speaker and handles the Word of God faithfully,” Lightfoot says. “We were blessed by his ministry.”

A special treat at the conference was music from the Karen (Myanmar) congregation that meets at Reformation Baptist Church. The group sang two choral songs and a quartet song in the Karen language. Lightfoot says it was a blessing to worship with brothers and sisters in Christ originally from half a world away.

He says of the conference, “The messages were timely and challenging, the fellowship was sweet, and we all went back to our churches rejoicing that we can serve the Lord together in the Rocky Mountain west.”
