Faith Taylor opens the Women’s Renew Conference at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp.

VENTURA, Iowa—Iowa Regular Baptist Camp welcomed 579 women from across the state for the Women’s Renew Conference, a two-day event of the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

Conference organizers say, “We can’t think of a better way to break in the fall season! Cider, flannel, caramel apples, hayrides, campfires, laughter, and most importantly refreshment from God’s Word!”

Faith Taylor joined the ladies to speak during the three main sessions and lead a workshop. Faith is a former pastor’s wife, having served with her husband, Dr. Dean Taylor, in churches for 25 years. Dean is now a professor and chairman of the ministerial training program at Faith Baptist Bible College.

Faith Baptist Bible College sets up a bookstore at the Women’s Renew Conference, saying, “Faith Bookstore is set up and ready to serve you.”

“I think about how often life overwhelms us,” Faith says. When we feel this way, we have two options, Faith says: “We can be consumed by the circumstances of our lives and we can let that determine our thoughts, our feelings, and our reactions. Or we can be consumed by our great God, by Who He is and His great love for us, and we can allow those truths to determine our thoughts and feelings and reactions.”

Attendee Sabrina Gogerty says, “It was so encouraging to be reminded of Who and what needs my focus as I head into a season of business and ministry. So many times I was reminded that if I am not continually being renewed by the Spirit, then I will not be able to overflow into the lives of my family members and those I serve.”
