BINGHAMTON, N.Y.—Each February hundreds of men gather for a Friday and Saturday Men’s Adventure Bible conference of the Northeast Fellowship. Good preaching, practical help, great fellowship, and recreational sport activities mark this ministry. This year’s Men’s Adventure, at Central Baptist Church Feb. 22–23, featured messages on the theme “Ready to Win” by Jon Jenks, state representative for the Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Church and the vice president for training at Baptist Church Planters. He challenged the men to protect themselves against sin and prepare for service, both of which require discipline, discipleship, and dependence.

“A great unity emerged in worship and in the desire to undertake great things for God,” says Brian King, associate director of the Northeast Fellowship. “The Lord truly made it a memorable time.”
