New Building Combines People and Resources

SPRING CITY, Pa.—Branch Life Church has a new home in Spring City, just a few miles south of the church’s former location in Pottstown. The congregation held a grand opening service Sept. 12.

The service “was a great day to celebrate what God has done,” says Pastor Josh Park.

In the summer of 2020, Branch Life Church adopted another Baptist church, with that church transferring its building’s deed and assets to Branch Life Church. Branch Life  renovated the facility. The building’s offices are now kids’ spaces, and the auditorium, built in 1856, has a refreshing new look.

The two churches then combined their people, wisdom, and experience. “We’re better together,” Josh says.

“More exciting than the building, Branch Life welcomed eleven new families as guests for the grand opening,” says Team Pastor Scott Greening, who oversees leadership and teaching teams, as well as systems and administration. “Many of these families have already returned for additional visits and are becoming part of the Branch Life family.”

Josh hopes the church’s new building will be “the first of many campuses that God allows us to be a part of, as we value multiplication—the multiplication of disciples, the multiplication of leaders, and the multiplication of churches. We’re excited about the future.”
