HIBBING, Minn.—First Baptist Church hosted the annual meeting of the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Guest speaker David Strope, addressing the theme of world missions, shared how churches can become more active in the Great Commission. Strope, pastor of Ankeny (Iowa) Baptist Church and chairman of the GARBC Council of Eighteen, has traveled abroad to visit many missionaries and serves on the board of Baptist Mid-Missions.
Workshop leaders included Tim Barr, pastor of Tri-City Baptist Church, Kansas City, Missouri; Tim’s wife, Elayna; and Darrell Friar, state representative of the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
