Man Camp Teaches Living with No Regrets

By November 1, 2021No Comments

LAKE ANN, Mich.—Man Camp was one of many retreats Lake Ann Camp offered this year.

For a weekend in September, men at the camp were immersed in challenging and relaxing activities both indoors and out. Ax throwing, target shooting, paintball, a climbing wall, and an outdoor cooking competition were just a few of the activities the men participated in.

The men also heard Bible teaching from Curt De Graaff, family and counseling pastor at Saylorville Church, Des Moines, Iowa. He encouraged the men not to just live life; rather, he taught them how to finish the race of life with no regrets.

Man Camp “is just what men need to stay strong in their walk with the Lord,” the camp says. “There was no shortage of dad jokes being flown around. But most importantly, God worked in the hearts of these men. We’re already excited for next year!”

Earlier this year Lake Ann Camp honored Ken Riley for 35 years of ministry as executive director. Ken says he and his wife, Margie, “could not be more blessed. It has been such a privilege to partner with God and so many wonderful people as we reach the next generation for Christ!”
