TYRONE, N.Y.—Lamoka Baptist Camp invited families to its lakefront campus June 29–July 4 for family camp. The camp calls its family camps “affordable, relaxing, spiritually refreshing, all-inclusive, activity-packed, and family-focused vacations for families of all sizes.”
Individual families stayed in their own cabins and chose activities to do during the week, including relaxing on the beach; swimming, canoeing, fishing, or paddleboarding in the lake; and enjoying a zip line, a low ropes course, and a 150-foot waterslide. “We pack our schedule full of activities for the whole family,” the camp says.
Mike Paris, pastor of First Baptist Church, Attica, New York, spoke during chapel services.
A second week of family camp will take place Aug. 10–15. Registration filled up quickly in June, but the camp says, “We also hope to offer some weekend family camp options to our late summer and fall, so keep a look out for more information as the summer progresses!”
Lamoka Baptist Camp is a member of the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps.
