Fall Palooza Connects Church with Many Families

VACAVILLE, Calif.—Orchard Baptist Baptist Church held its Fall Palooza on the evening of Oct. 31 to connect with its community. The free event, which the church has hosted each year for the past decade, brings an estimated two thousand people to the church for games, candy, cocoa, and a bounce house.

“Although we are not great fans of the actual Halloween celebration, we do believe in reaching out to and serving our community in every way possible,” says Pastor Ken Doan.

For the past four years the church has partnered with its Spanish ministry, Esperanza Iglesia Bautista, pastored by church-planting missionary Steve Borders, to host the event.

Vacaville is located about 30 miles from Sacramento, the site of the 2020 GARBC Conference.
