BRUNSWICK, Ohio—Over 140 men from northeast Ohio converged upon First Baptist Church May 2 for a Man Up Conference, a first annual event of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Dr. Jim Lytle, president of Clarks Summit University, joined Robert Brooks, chaplain of the Cleveland Browns, to remind the men of God’s call in 1 Corinthians 16:13 to “Act like Men.” Bill Kopas Jr., associate pastor of Camden Baptist Church, Wellington, Ohio, says, “Manly quizzes were taken, manly prizes were awarded, and the fight for Biblical manhood continues to drive us to recognize our need for the manliest man of all: Jesus Christ.”
