PRINCETON, Ind.—First Baptist Church participated in its city’s Back to School Bash at a pool and park complex. Students up through eighth grade received backpacks and school supplies, including composition notebooks that the church had donated. The church also handed out brochures about its children’s and youth ministries to the two hundred families who attended.

“One family confessed to having released their pet catfish in the church pond after it had grown too large for their aquarium,” says Carl Biddle, chairman of First Baptist’s missions committee. “We said that was okay, and we invited them to come visit their pet.”
