LAKELAND, Fla.—Each year the educational leadership of Fellowship Baptist Church hosts a breakfast to honor the church’s Sunday School workers and students. They also use the breakfast as a way to introduce Sunday School to those who do not attend a class.
This year, along with promoting students to their next age level, the church launched a college-age class. The children in grades six and under were dismissed to their Sunday School classes, while the youth and adults listened to a devotional. Participants also heard updates concerning ideas under consideration and a challenge regarding the look of “sound doctrine” in an educational environment.
