A Mountaintop Experience for Northeast Fellowship Pastors

By October 4, 2021No Comments

INDIAN LAKE, N.Y.—Pastors from the Northeast Fellowship took a camping trip in the Adirondacks. Brian King, executive director of the Northeast Fellowship, hoped the pastors would “benefit from a concentrated time of rest and fellowship, part alone with the Lord and part together with other pastors.”

Staying in Indian Lake, not far from Independent Baptist Church in the same town, the pastors hiked, cooked over an open fire, and prayed together. The entire trip was “structured around pastoral camaraderie in prayer and Scripture, idea swapping, campfire meals, and great-outdoors activities,” Brian says.

The trip was rest for weary souls and a lift for those who were thriving, he says. “We’ve got plans to do it all again in 2022!”
