Evangelism in the context of our diverse, ever-changing world is the topic of The Emmaus Road Message (TERM) seminar, presented by John Cross and GoodSeed.com and hosted by Pastor Mike Augsburger and Willow Creek Baptist Church, Des Moines, Iowa. Participants will see what Scripture has to say about sharing the gospel clearly, using an approach that Jesus Himself used and that has proven effective whether engaging the confused, the seeker, or the hardened. STRONG CHURCH LEARNING LAB
How does a church become strong? The singular answer is that intentional instruction of the Word of God develops believers toward spiritual maturity. These three-part online sessions on Oct. 15, 22, and 29 (10 a.m. CT) will guide participants in developing an instructional taxonomy for teaching the whole Bible, designing tools to assess the progress of disciples toward spiritual maturity, and creating instructional plans to improve the learning environment within the church. MIDWEST CONGRESS OF BAPTIST FUNDAMENTALISTS
“Interpretation Matters: Affirming Our Dispensational Heritage” is the theme of the 2015 Midwest Congress of Baptist Fundamentalists Oct. 26 and 27 at Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. The Congress is a regional gathering of individuals who affirm essential Christian doctrine, fellowship in Baptist ecclesiology, and commit to the fundamentals of the gospel as the boundary of Christian fellowship. One of the uniting principles that Baptist fundamentalists share is the interpretive method of approaching the Holy Scriptures, reflected by the theme of the 2015 Congress.
