Spring Ministry Forum: The Historical Jesus
“Engaging Skeptics on the Historical Jesus” is the topic of the spring ministry forum of Calvary Baptist Seminary, Lansdale, Pa., March 10. Study of the historical Jesus has found its way into university classrooms and into homes through TVs and computers. But those writing and speaking on the topic are often agnostics and skeptics. How do you talk about Jesus to people for whom the Bible may not have intrinsic value as a source for understanding Him? How does one discuss Jesus from the Bible when the Bible itself is a question?

Guest lecturer Darrell Bock, research professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, will address these questions and more during his three-part series. You may register online or by calling 215.368.7538, ext. 101.

Faith Baptist Church, Port Washington, Wis., will be hosting a counseling seminar March 14 and 15 on the subjects of conflict and anger. Conflict is a part of life, but the real question is how to resolve it. How can you take care of conflict within your family or with friends? Often conflict brings about unresolved anger. Dr. Marty Von, director of Church Life Ministries, will deal with both of these issues from a Biblical perspective.

Registration is $35 for individuals and $45 for couples for both sessions: Friday, 6:00–9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Child care is provided. Please mail your checks for registration to P.O. Box 243 Port Washington, WI 53074. For more information, call 262.483.8811.
