Help GLS Send Materials to Churches
Almost every week Gospel Literature Services get requests from pastors who want to help believers grow in their spiritual maturity but who do not have Bible resources to use for the task. GLS has the Bible resources but not the funds to ship them.

To help meet this need, GLS has initiated TEAM 300.This team will consist of individuals, small groups, Sunday School classes, or local churches who commit to underwrite the shipping expenses for $30 a month. We need 300 team members who will rise up and stand by GLS to accomplish its primary goal—getting Regular Baptist Sunday School curricula to national churches around the globe.

Make this a project for your small group or Sunday School class. Learn more about this special need.

Honor Your Pastor
Sunday, October 14, is national Pastor Appreciation Day. Take some time on that day (or during this month) to recognize and honor the man who leads your church. “Remember those . . . who have spoken the word of God to you” (Heb. 13:7).

Recycle your 2s and 3s and Pre-Primary Teaching Packets
With the introduction of the new 2s and 3s and Pre-Primary Regular Baptist Press materials, many churches have a supply of teaching packets and teacher books from the previous curriculum cycle. Don’t toss those valuable teaching aids! You may send them to GLEAM, who will then recycle them for use in other countries. Visit their Web site for shipping information.

Pray for One Another
Ken Floyd, the state representative for the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches, recently encouraged the MARBC churches to designate Sunday, September 30, as the “One Accord” prayer day for churches. Will you take up the challenge to lead your church in setting aside a special day to pray for one another? Here are some requests Ken Floyd included in his communication.
1. Pray for your church and pastor

2. Select at least two other sister churches in your area to remember in prayer

3. Remember to pray for the pastorless churches in your state fellowship

4. The outreach and evangelistic ministry of your church

5. The next generation to respond to the call to vocational Christian ministry

6. The missions efforts and missionaries sent out by Regular Baptist churches

7. Church planting initiatives by Regular Baptist churches

“So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: ‘Lord, You are God’ …” (Acts 4:24).
