Help with Haiti Rebuilding Efforts

Chris Hindal, director of International Ministries for the GARBC, is arranging rebuilding efforts through the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries. During a recent trip to Haiti, Hindal rented a guesthouse (as pictured on right)  in Port-au-Prince to house missions teams that plan to travel this summer to rebuild churches and pastors’ homes.

Noting that construction in Haiti will likely use cement block walls, wood trusses, and sheet metal roofing, Hindal says current needs are for contractors and lead builders who are willing to donate a week of time and for churches to organize work teams with carpentry and masonry skills. Housing, along with transportation from the airport and to and from the job sites, will be arranged. Costs will include round-trip airfare, plus $70 per week per person for accommodations and ground transportation. Each team will be responsible for their food; a full kitchen is available. Direct your questions and reserve a week by contacting Chris Hindal at chindal@garbc.org or visiting garbcInternational.org.
