MISSIONS TRIP OPPORTUNITY: FRAMERS NEEDED AT CHURCHFramers_thumb
Desert Hills Baptist Church in Buckeye, Arizona, has been meeting in a public school for the past six years. The Lord has blessed this church plant, and the congregation its outgrowing its space and preparing to build its own facility. Recently the church applied for financial assistance with Regular Baptist Builders Club to help fund the construction project, and the board of administrators approved the request.

Pastor Adam Zamora, church leaders, and skilled professionals have a detailed construction schedule planned over the next seven months and are in need of volunteers. During the month of June, the church will begin framing the building. They are asking for volunteers who could help with the beginning phase of the building project. This is a perfect opportunity for a short-term missions project for a church or individual who wants to serve a sister church. For more information, contact Regular Baptist Builders Club at builders@garbc.org or 847.585.0803.

Funding is available to provide materials to build two houses for pastors in Haiti, but volunteers are needed to render the labor for building them. The project requires two groups of two or three men to assist for one week at a time. Missionary Dave Manore has started the foundation layout for the first house and is looking for two men to work with him in July to complete the structure. The cost would be approximately $850/person for each week plus airfare. Prior to departure, volunteers must have passport and immunizations.
