CHURCH BUILDING BADLY DAMAGED BY TORNADOPortland_inline

First Baptist Church, Portland, Michigan, incurred extensive damage during a tornado a few weeks ago. Pastor Gary Coleman says the church is in a holding pattern as it waits on insurance claims to be processed and engineers to determine the amount that insurance will pay out. Teams will be needed to assist in the rebuilding process. If your church would like to assist this sister church, please contact Michael Nolan, director of Baptist Builders Club.

Michael Nolan thanks everyone for their prayers and financial support of the Baptist Builders Club ministry. You may give a gift by calling 1-888-588-1600, ext. 818, or mailing a donation to BBC–USA, 3715 Ventura Dr., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

PROVIDING FOR A TANZANIAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TanzanianSchool_Inline2

Holy Baptists Independent Churches of Africa, a partner of GARBC International Ministries, has established eight churches in northwest Tanzania. This association started a Christian school, but only one class can meet in the church building, with the rest meeting under the mango trees.

Constructing a school building will cost $24,000. After receiving $18,000 from International Ministries donors, the four-room school was able to construct a roof, leaving the doors, windows, concrete floor, and finishing work remaining. Guests at the 2015 GARBC International Luncheon contributed an additional $2,000 for the school’s completion, with $4,000 needing to be raised.

You can help by donating online, designating your gift “African Project.” Praise God we can help our brothers and sisters as they seek to effectively fulfill the Great Commission.
