Pray for Believers in PakistanPakistan_thumb
Taliban suicide bombers attacked two churches in Lahore, Pakistan. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction claimed responsibility for the attack. Two terrorists were arrested and they say more acts are yet to come. Broken window panes, blood, and shoes were scattered across the blast sites. Thirty-nine believers were martyred and around 80 were severely injured. Read the full report at GARBC International.

Jensen_thumbPray for Chaplain John Jensen and Family
Recently Maj. John Jensen deployed to Kuwait, where he is the chaplain at Camp Buehring. As such, he is responsible for all religious services performed at the camp. Though he does not conduct all the services, he makes sure every service member has opportunity to worship according to his or her own faith. Please pray for Chaplain Jensen and his wife, Kelly, as she cares for responsibilities at home and the needs of their children and foster children. See the article about Chaplain Jensen’s deployment at Regular Baptist Chaplaincy.

Support State/Regional FellowshipsE_info_thumb
Regular Baptist pastors and churches encourage one another and work together through state/regional fellowships. Sadly, financial support for the ministry of these fellowships is lessening to critical levels. At times, our staff at the GARBC Resource Center has received comments from churches dropping their support, such as, “We are focusing our support on people, not agencies.” (Are “agencies” so high-tech that they’ve eliminated people?) Please support your state/regional fellowship and your representative and his wife through prayer and finances. If the church you lead is not supporting your state/regional fellowship, won’t you prayerfully consider recommending its ministry to be part of your missions budget?
