Give a Lasting Christmas Gift
Involve your adult Sunday School classes in a special Christmas offering project: giving the gift of great preaching! The GARBC Resource Center contains archival materials from men who have provided our association with rich history and vast knowledge and wisdom. Their testimonies and teachings enrich our lives today and provide guidance for the future. Due to the limited access of these reel-to-reel audio materials, the GARBC would like to make these archives available on the Internet. This Christmas, give a gift that will provide a valuable resource for churches and pastors. Your donation will help digitize a recording and make it available online! You may give your gift online or by mail: GARBC, Attn: Audio Legacy, 1300 North Meacham Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60173. Activate GARBC Audio Legacy!

Council of 18 to Meet
Council of 18 members are rolling up their sleeves in preparation for their meeting Nov. 17–19. Conference planning, association growth, and church planting will be on the planning agenda. Meetings will be led by Chairman Ken Floyd. If you have thoughts, ideas, or opinions to share, please contact a member of the Council of 18.

Churches Connect with Baptist BulletinNovDec14_BB_Cover
A special thank you to churches that are jumping on board with Baptist Bulletin subscriptions: Calvary Baptist Church, Mesa, Ariz., and Sycamore Community Baptist Church, Dorr, Mich. Kudos to these churches for keeping abreast of current issues affecting the church and accessing Regular Baptist news and commentary by subscribing to the Baptist Bulletin. Your church can experience significant savings by subscribing through a group plan. Subscriptions to print and/or digital editions are available. E-mail Lynne Goemaat for details or visit Baptist Bulletin subscriptions.

IPFBM1GARBC International Praise Report
Recently Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, and his wife, Deb, completed a ministry trip in Asia, a continent in which two-thirds of the IPFBM partners minister. The Lord provided opportunities for spiritual growth and relationship building among partners and church members. He also granted health and safety for the Hindals’ travel.

Note the following items of praise:

  • Dr. H. C. Stephen, chairman of the IPFBM Council of Eight, and the Hindals conducted a regional conference in Imphal, Manipur, India. Seventy pastors and church leaders from three associations came together for training and planning.
  • IPFBM leaders met with association leaders in Mizoram and Assam, as the nationals shared their challenges and learned more about participating in the IPFBM. Several servants expressed the great blessing of receiving Sunday School curriculum through Gospel Literature Services.
  • A ministry survey took place in Cambodia, a country in which Buddhism permeates every aspect of life. Fundamental Baptist missionaries in Cambodia need great wisdom and much prayer to plant indigenous churches.

Additional items of praise from Africa:

  • God’s provision of recent donations of $12,000 toward building a school in Tanzania, East Africa. Currently these Tanzanian partners are conducting classes under mango trees.
  • In West Africa, IPFBM partners are spreading the good news of Christ’s redeeming love and educating others about Ebola. Please keep these brothers and sisters in prayer, asking for God’s protection and blessing.

The world continues to display the effects of human depravity; the only answer is the unrelenting spread of the gospel. Donate now to the International Ministries project of your choice.
