Young Pastors to Meet

Pastors, enter June 26, 5:00 p.m. into your calendar now! A get together of young pastors, wives, and children is being planned for Thursday evening at the GARBC Annual Conference. Eat dinner together at a local restaurant; meet old friends and make new ones. Don’t miss this opportunity to make connections!

Strategic Planning Assistance

Assistance with church revitalization, outreach strategy, and strategic planning are now available as a ministry of the GARBC. Would you like to to advance your ministries in carrying out the Great Commission? Contact Associate National Representative, Jim Vogel, for more information.

Attention History Buffs

Would you like to trace the Resolutions of our Association in their response to events, legislative matters, and social concerns happening in our nation? GARBC Resolutions from 1932 -1957 are available for your viewing on our website and with an additional resolution added every Friday. Not only will reading the Resolutions broaden your awareness of the Association but it will allow you to take a peek into our nation’s history.

Minnesota Teen Network

Minnesota Regular Baptist teens have their own Facebook group, sponsored by the Minnesota State Youth Committee. The website contains news about state youth activities, students’ perspectives about participating in Talents For Christ (TFC) , a listing of the TFC results, a video clip of a student preaching, etc. Facebook is a tool that some are using to connect people for Christian camaraderie and spiritual development. To learn more about how to use Facebook.com as a ministry tool with teens, read youth pastor Marc Herron’s article, Facebook and Youth Ministry, in the upcoming May/June Baptist Bulletin .
