TFC2016_icon_thumbTALENTS FOR CHRIST: REGISTER NOW!
Involving teens in Talents For Christ is a win for them! Participating in the TFC experience helps teens grow in their confidence, develop their talents, expand their commitment to serving Christ, and enhance their spiritual walk. Consider bringing a singing group or drama team to this year’s national competition on June 28 in the Chicago suburb of Oswego and combine with a trip to see the sights of Chicago. Individuals and groups can participate in scholarship or open (non-scholarship) competitions. Deadline for registering for scholarship, state open, and state group competitions is March 5. Point teens in your church toward registration today!

Council3_leadCOUNCIL NOMINATIONS DUE MARCH 24
Men elected to the GARBC Council of Eighteen have direct influence on the future of the association. Nominating candidates is a privilege that comes with the association’s recognition of local church autonomy. The election process is not tied to how much money a church gives in supporting the association or dependent on the size of the church. Every church has equal voting privileges. Please nominate pastors and ministry leaders to be placed on the ballot. Represent your area of the country by submitting nominations for the Council of Eighteen online, by fax (847.843.3757), or by e-mail. Download a nomination form. Nominations are due March 24.

SunshineFellowship_thumbGARBC FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS OPEN
Is your church not in the GARBC, but you would like to learn more about fellowshipping in the association? The GARBC staff can help you by providing materials to distribute to your church family and by guiding you through the application process. For more information, see Join Us. Applications are available for church plants and for established churches. For pastors already in GARBC churches, please invite pastoral colleagues and their churches to fellowship in the association. Together our voice for truth can be stronger!

CHAPLAINS IN MINISTRYChapIreland_thumb
Be encouraged by the life-changing ministry of GARBC-endorsed chaplains as they share the gospel and make disciples. Check out Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Director Manning Brown’s recent post, sharing the good news of a baptism by Chaplain (CPT) Patrick Ireland of a new soldier in Christ.

CHURCH DIRECTORY UPDATES
Has your church e-mail address changed? Does your church have a new web address? Has a new pastor joined your staff? Recently a GARBC information packet was sent to churches, which includes a church directory update form. If you do not have that form, please e-mail an update to garbc@garbc.org. Feel free to send changes whenever they occur. Let’s work together by making it easy to contact one another as sister churches!

RB-Press-Logo-Icon_color_RGBAPOLOGETICS PROJECT: JOYFUL DEFENSE
Regular Baptist Press’s mission is to glorify God by providing church educational resources that are true to God’s Word and encourage maturity in Christ. It is our greatest joy to see churches strong and healthy!

We are making strategic decisions regarding new products and delivery formats and are pleased to be working with Jay Lucas to create an innovative approach to the topic of apologetics. Jay is a respected author and pastor who has published several evangelistic Bible studies with RBP.

The Joyful Defense project will be formatted in a series of 13 engaging videos mixing lecture and conversation with courageous Christ followers from a variety of life stations. The videos will come with the support of a workbook, marketing material, and all the tools needed to connect the study with social media. Joyful Defense is ideal for both individual use and group settings.

Would you help us with the production of Joyful Defense and the launch of a new RBP product line? We have raised $18,000 toward our $37,000 goal. You can donate online at RegularBaptistPress.org/donate, by calling 888.588.1600, or by check sent to Regular Baptist Press, 3715 N. Ventura Drive, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

The impact of your gift is eternal!

REGULAR BAPTIST MINISTRIES TO HOST NARBC CAMP DIRECTORS
The Regular Baptist Ministries Resource Center is looking forward to hosting the camp directors’ retreat of the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps March 15 and 16. Leader Jon Beight, director of Twin Lakes Camp, Hillsboro, Indiana, has a valuable time of interaction, learning, and fellowship planned. Regular Baptist churches are grateful for NARBC camps, as they provide Biblical, Christ-centered teaching and camping experiences that effectively facilitate God’s transforming work in the lives of youth and adults.
