“The Essential Gospel” is the focus of the 2014 GARBC Conference. Soul-stirring messages to challenge and renew will be presented from God’s Word, Monday through Friday, June 23–27. The conference preaching schedule is as follows:

GARBC_iconGARBC Fellowship Applications Still Open
Your church still has time to apply for GARBC Fellowship! Applying churches officially become part of the GARBC during the upcoming GARBC Conference, June 23–27. Churches from Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Wisconsin have already submitted their applications for GARBC fellowship for approval. Additional churches have expressed interest. Is your church not in the GARBC, but you are considering the possibility of fellowshipping in the association? The GARBC Resource Center can assist you with the application process. Together our voice for truth can be stronger!

GARBC Ministries Special Events
Rejoice in the good things that the Lord is doing through GARBC ministries at the GARBC Conference.

  • John and Hope Murdoch, director and wife of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministries, will host the annual Corps Vets Reception on Wednesday, June 25, following the GARBC Conference evening service. All veterans and their families are invited to attend. The reception is held to communicate gratitude to our veterans for their service and to express ongoing support for troops and chaplains currently serving to keep us free.
  • Join Michael and Kristen Nolan, director and wife of Baptist Builders Club, BBC_USA_Logofor breakfast at the GARBC Conference and learn about BBC–USA’s work of  starting, helping, and building Regular Baptist churches. Enjoy breakfast and catch the vision of Baptist Builders Club on Wednesday, June 25, at 7:30 a.m. Sign up when you register for the GARBC Conference.
  • Firsthand accounts of God’s work around the globe are always thrilling! Get the latest GARBC International Ministries news and IPFBMenjoy meeting ministry leaders from other nations at the International luncheon. Register for the GARBC Conference and sign up for the Wednesday International Luncheon, hosted by Chris and Deb Hindal, director and wife of GARBC International Ministries.

Students Alive!Students Alive!
Teens at the GARBC Conference will enjoy the preaching, discussion groups, outreach emphasis, and social activities of the Students Alive! program under the direction of Lance and Carrie Augsburger. Teens will participate in a large youth rally on Wednesday, June 25, following their trip to see the Tampa Bay Rays play baseball at 1:30 p.m. Area youth pastors and leaders are encouraged to bring their teens to the Wednesday youth events. Register for the week or day.

Local Committee Hard at Work
The 2014 GARBC Conference local committee is hard at work, paving the way to make the conference valuable and enjoyable for all who attend. Committee members are as follows:

  • Children’s  Program Facilitators: Jerry Busby, pastor of Family Ministries, Starkey Road Baptist Church, Seminole, Fla., and Rick Piatt, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lakeland, Fla.

Thanks to the local committee for their hard work! Their gracious hospitality truly reflects Florida’s nickname as the Sunshine State.
