REGULAR BAPTIST CHURCH PLANTING PRAYER CHALLENGE
Regular Baptist Church Planting just completed phase one of its “On Our Knees” prayer initiative and offering, with individuals and entire churches participating. We have received great feedback and are excited to engage more people in phase two. Anthony and Rhoda Adona, members of Northside Harvest Baptist Church, Milpitas, California, share the following:

“The Prayer Challenge has brought us together as a family to, first and foremost, recognize the sovereignty of God as the source of every good and perfect gift. Prayer is also an opportunity to remind us that apart from the redemptive work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ working in our lives, we are unable to fully live a purposeful and meaningful life that glorifies God.

“The Prayer Challenge has broadened our perspective in realizing that there are so many various people groups and communities within this world who do not yet know the gospel of Jesus Christ. This newfound awareness has sparked a desire to pray for opportunities in which we can courageously and boldly share the Good News of Christ’s saving grace to others. We recommend this prayer campaign to any follower of Jesus Christ who has a desire to answer the call of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).”

Churches and individuals can sign up to participate in the “On Our Knees” campaign for any 30-day period that best fits their schedules from Jan. 1 through April 16. We are praying that at least 50 churches will pray and give to help us launch four or five new churches in 2017. In addition to gaining prayer support, our goal is to raise $50,000 that will go directly toward training church planters and starting new churches. This is a great opportunity to focus your church on outreach and evangelism.

REGULAR BAPTIST BUILDERS CLUB APPROVES GRANTS AND LOANS
In its November meeting, the Regular Baptist Builders Club board of directors considered three churches’ applications for grants or interest-free loans, all of which were approved. Join in praising the Lord and celebrating with the recipients.

  • Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kansas
  • Victory Baptist Church, Bronx, New York
  • Faith Baptist Church, Lee’s Summit, Missouri

All three churches plan to expand and improve their facilities to better serve their communities. Look for updates on their progress in future posts at www.BaptistBuildersClub.org.

In 2016, Regular Baptist Builders Club assisted seven churches, giving a total of $120,000 in grants and loans. God has allowed those who gave to be a part of blessing others. When donors and churches work together, they can do great things for Him. Sign up today to start helping sister churches by praying and giving five times a year in 2017.

CAP OFF AN IMPORTANT TRANSLATION PROJECT
Thank you for faithfully supporting Regular Baptist International in 2016. Please consider starting the new year by giving a gift to finish the project of publishing Dr. Paul Jackson’s book, The Doctrine and Administration of the Church, in the Indian language of Telugu. This $12,000 project needs just $2,000 to complete. It will mean so much to pastors in India. You may donate online, by phone, or by mail. For online donations, please select “International – Printing Operations” in the drop-down menu, and for check donations, please write “Printing Operations” on the memo line. May the Lord give you a blessed new year as you await His return!
