Celebration and Changes in The Baptist Bulletin
January 2008 marks the seventy-fifth anniversary of The Baptist Bulletin. We’ve made several decisions recently that will allow the magazine to continue as a strong voice in our Association. Starting with the January/February 2008 issue, the Baptist Bulletin will be published six times a year in a bimonthly format. While subscribers will receive five fewer issues, we are expanding from 32 to 48 pages. We believe these changes will allow us to cover the broad range of topics our readers expect, while delivering the magazine in a cost-effective format. Along with these changes, we’ve slightly raised our group rates. Read more about these changes.

Take a Field Trip!

Learn about the ministry of the GARBC nationally and internationally. On a regular basis, individuals and groups tour the Regular Baptist Ministries Resource Center. One block away you can visit Illinois’s largest tourist attraction, The Woodfield Mall, which contains nearly 300 restaurants and shops. Call the GARBC Resource Center at 888-588-1600 to arrange for a tour of our ministries and see our new visual display.

New IPFBM Partners
We welcome two new partners to the growing International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries:

  • the Bungoma Eastern Baptist Association of Kenya, East Africa, led by Rev. Cyrus Wanyonyi
  • the Beracah Inventors Rural Development Society of Andhra Pradesh, India, led by Rev. Irigi Praveen Kumar

Keep Up to Date
Look forward to the January issue of The Baptist Bulletin that includes a new feature: Leader’s Digest—a new two-page feature written by Jim Vogel, packed with ministry resources for church leaders. Also you will find GARBC Conference information, a TFC update, a look at crisis pregnancy centers, and an interview with Phil Dawson, kicker for the Cleveland Browns.
