IMPORTANT SURVEY FOR CHURCH GROUP RETIREMENT PLAN
As your ministry resource provider, Regular Baptist Ministries is considering how to better assist you in this area of financial stewardship. Will you take part in this important survey regarding staff retirement plans in Regular Baptist churches? The survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and all answers will be kept confidential. Thank you for your time.

NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATE IN MAY/JUNE BAPTIST BULLETIN
Look in the May/June Baptist Bulletin for the announcement of the national representative candidate. The Resource Center staff is grateful to the Council of Eighteen search committee for their diligent work in the process of selecting a candidate. During the 2018 GARBC Conference, the national representative candidate will speak during a main session and will participate in a Q and A with conferees. Churches will vote regarding the candidate’s confirmation during the association’s annual business meeting during the conference week. Please pray as the association seeks God’s will regarding the appointment of national representative. If you have not already done so, subscribe to the Baptist Bulletin.

2018 GARBC CONFERENCE: EMBARK ON A NEW ERA
A new face of the GARBC? In addition to enjoying messages by the national representative candidate, along with Thomas White, Steve Pettit, Michael Wilburn, Duke Crawford, David Gunn, and John Greening, the 2018 GARBC conferees will be voting regarding the confirmation of the national representative. If you haven’t made plans to attend the 2018 GARBC Conference, reserve the dates of June 26–29 on your calendar, and start planning your conference/vacation itinerary. Don’t miss this opportunity to combine spiritual renewal, family programming, and good fellowship. Register now to be able to vote during the business meeting and to receive an early bird discount for the conference!

CONFERENCE EXPENSE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Through the generosity of Regular Baptist churches, funding to help pastors and their families attend the 2018 GARBC Conference is available. If your church does not have the financial resources to send you to the conference and you would like to attend, please email garbc@garbc.org. Your inquiry will be kept confidential.

AN INVITE TO FELLOWSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION
Every year Regular Baptist Churches welcomes churches into the association at its conference during the last week in June. If your church is not part of the association, we invite you to fellowship with us. By doing so, you will be part of a group of churches that upholds Biblical truth and authority and that cares for one another as partners in ministry. Churches in the GARBC gain access to grants and loans for church facilities or start-up costs for church plants, 501(c)3 tax exempt status, connections with churches worldwide, and the opportunity to band together for Biblical truth that is often countercultural. Mission churches may apply for fellowship through church vote and by completing a this one-page application. Established churches may use this application. Be part of something bigger than your individual church. Together we can accomplish more!

REGULAR BAPTIST BUILDERS CLUB AND CHURCH PLANTING UPDATES
Director Clare Jewell asks that churches pray as Regular Baptist Builders Club seeks to set up a church revitalization grant program. The goal is to announce details at the 2018 GARBC Conference June 26–29. In addition, Clare invites you to attend the preconference workshop on church planting, Tuesday, June 26 at 1:30 p.m.  Join Clare and church planters Dan Nichols, Ryan Frank, Luke Johnston, and (tentatively) Dan Gonzalez as they encourage you to reach your community for Christ. Register at 2018 GARBC Conference.

TALENTS FOR CHRIST NATIONALS OPEN TO CHURCHES IN ANY STATE
When teens participate in Talents For Christ, it’s a win-win for the competitors and their churches! As teens prepare for TFC, they grow in confidence, develop their talents, commit to Christian service, and enhance their spiritual walk. If teens regularly attend a GARBC church but live in a state that does not offer a TFC competition, they can still qualify for the scholarship division on the national level (see TFC registration for details). Open (non-scholarship) competitions help students gain experience and hone their skills. Consider bringing a vocal group or drama team to this year’s national competition on June 28 at Hamilton Hills Church in Indianapolis. In addition to scholarships offered by Appalachian Bible College, Clarks Summit University, Piedmont International University, and Shasta Bible College, two additional colleges, Bob Jones University and Maranatha Baptist University, are offering TFC scholarships this year!

REGULAR BAPTIST PRESS REFLECTS ON DR. BILLY GRAHAM
The death of renowned evangelist Billy Graham sent shock waves through the evangelical world. It is no secret that the Regular Baptist movement did not always see eye to eye with Dr. Graham, but we nevertheless rejoice in the knowledge that his ministry reached millions of people with the gospel. Read RBP’s reflections on the life, ministry, and impact of Billy Graham. For an  extended article, see the March/April issue of the Baptist Bulletin.

BROTHERHOOD MUTUAL: INSURANCE PROVIDER TO GARBC CHURCHES
The GARBC is teaming with Brotherhood Mutual to offer an insurance resource for churches. View a video of John Greening, GARBC national representative, introducing this partnership. Every week it seems that news outlets report another disaster. Don’t let property damage, accidents, and other circumstances hinder your ministry. Brotherhood Mutual offers a host of insurance services to Regular Baptist churches, including property and liability insurance, accident insurance, missions travel insurance, and worker compensation policies. Make sure the resources God has entrusted to you are insured. Visit www.garbc.org/brotherhood to learn more.
