The 2017 GARBC Conference, June 27–30, is a great opportunity for the whole family to grow spiritually and enjoy friendships in Christ! The conference offers families programming designed for every age group, from newborns to seniors. The staff of Sandy Cove Christian Conference Center in North East, Maryland, and our Regular Baptist Resource Center team are working hard to ensure you will have a great experience during the week. Excellent main sessions and relevant workshops in this Bible-centered conference will challenge and encourage you. The Chesapeake Bay location—with New York City, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg just a couple hours away—makes a perfect conference and family vacation combination. Come and be spiritually and emotionally refreshed. Register early to receive an early bird discount.

REGULAR BAPTIST INTERNATIONAL STRENGTHENS CHURCHES IN MYANMAR
Chris Hindal, director of Regular Baptist International, is on a three-week ministry trip to Myanmar, where six church associations affiliated with the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries are located. In addition, Regular Baptist Press International sends Sunday School and Vacation Bible School curriculum into Myanmar. Chris will be meeting with association leaders in strategy sessions to help propel the fulfillment of the Great Commission assignment. For many years, the Chin State in Myanmar was closed to foreigners. Because of that restriction, Chris previously conducted a conference for Chin pastors and leaders outside their state in a border city. Praise God that the travel restrictions have been lifted, enabling Chris to conduct a three-day conference in Hakha, Chin State. Pray for safety while traveling on poorly maintained mountainous roads. Also pray for receptive hearts. If you would like to invest in international conferences that train nationals to be the hands and feet of Jesus, this is an opportunity for you. You may donate online, by phone, or by mail, making your gift payable to Regular Baptist International and noting #9002 IPFBM conferences.

AN INVITATION TO A BOAT RIDE
Are you planning to attend the GARBC Conference in June? Sign up for the Regular Baptist Church Planting boat tours to take place on Thursday, June 29. You can take a spin around the the Chesapeake Bay, see the beautiful sights, and visit with Clare Jewell of Regular Baptist Church Planting. Sign up when you register for the conference.

COUNCIL OF EIGHTEEN NOMINATIONS SUBMISSIONS BY STATE
Thank you to churches that submitted nominations for Council of Eighteen candidates! Iowa led the way with the most churches submitting nominations (24), followed by Ohio (11). Other states with churches submitting nominations are Arizona (2), Colorado (5), Delaware (1), Florida (2), Illinois (6), Indiana (9), Maryland (1), Michigan (7), Minnesota (3), Missouri (2), Nebraska (1), New Jersey (1), New York (5), Oregon (1), Pennsylvania (1), and Wisconsin (3). In all, 85 churches participated. In a fellowship for the churches by the churches, your nominations play a direct role in charting the course for the association.

REGULAR BAPTIST BUILDERS CLUB BOARD TO REVIEW GRANTS AND LOANS
On May 3, the Regular Baptist Builders Club board of administrators and director will meet to review three churches’ applications for grants or loans. Please be in prayer for the board, pastors, and churches. If all three churches are approved for full grants or loans, the total amount of funds given would be $60,000. Look for updates about the churches and for ministry opportunities available to individuals and church groups. To help fund the grants and loans, click donate online, by mail, or by phone.

GUARD AND RESERVE CHAPLAINS MINISTER FULL-TIME
Military Guard and Reserve chaplains may wear their uniforms part-time, but their ministries are full-time.  Read about Ch. (Maj) Ron Faith and his dual-hatted ministry in the March/April issue of the Baptist Bulletin. Help support Regular Baptist Chaplaincy by giving. Through your giving, our chaplains are going!

GARBC FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS OPEN
Is your church not in the GARBC, but you would like to learn more about fellowshipping in the association? The GARBC staff can help by providing materials to distribute to your church family and by guiding your church through the application process. For more information, see Join Us. Applications are available for church plants and for established churches. For pastors already serving in GARBC churches, please invite pastoral colleagues and their churches to fellowship in the association. Voting messengers will welcome churches into the GARBC fellowship at the 2017 GARBC Conference. Together our voice for truth can be stronger!

2016–17 GARBC CHURCH DIRECTORY
Keep in contact! How long has it been since your church office ordered a GARBC Directory? Probably now is the time to get a new copy. The 2016–17 GARBC Church Directory is now available as a book and a digital edition.
