Why the GARBC Needs Young People, Part 3

By June 24, 2010June 20th, 2014No Comments

David King’s article is a great summary of reasons why the GARBC needs young leaders. Here’s another reason.

During the GARBC Annual Conference, we hear a list of leaders in GARBC ministries who have died this year. As the names were read, I realized how many men and women from the “greatest generation” have passed away. As these faithful men and women no longer lead, we need young men and women with zeal and ability to step into the gap. We need to honor the faithfulness of those who have gone before, our grandparents, by carrying the torch for Christ. It will take courage, wisdom, and faithfulness. But God is faithful, and He gives grace.

What did your grandparents do for the cause of Christ? How are you being faithful to their legacy?
