With the observance of our Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection ap-proaching, this beautifully illustrated story deserves consideration. A Christian Jewish family observes the Passover Seder and invites neighbors to join them after the neighbors’ twins see the family getting ready to paint their doorposts. At the end of the story is a song, “Dayenu,” a Messianic adaptation of the traditional song of that title, and a couple of Passover recipes.
The book applies the truth of Psalm 78:5: “For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children.”
