Historical Literature

The literature items are historic documents written by former leaders of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. These documents discuss the issues that brought the GARBC into being and define its beliefs, practices, and polices. The literature items are reprints of associational actions, sermons, and articles that helped to define the association’s core values. View literature items.

Since the first GARBC Annual Conference in 1932, resolutions have expressed the thinking of the GARBC messengers attending the conferences on a variety of subjects. The resolutions reflect the association’s desire to uphold doctrinal integrity and to respond to ecclesiastical and social concerns. In recognition of the local church’s autonomy, the resolutions are not legislative in nature. Many of the resolutions contain extensive Biblical references, providing helpful information for personal study and teaching. View resolutions by year or topic.
