Please take a few minutes to view a video in which I detail a financial need we have at Regular Baptist Ministries. Limitations placed on church ministries due to the COVID-19 pandemic have caused serious financial strains on our ministry. This has meant a huge decrease for us in sales in curriculum and especially in our Vacation Bible School program. We know that as our partners in disciple-making ministries, you love and appreciate Regular Baptist Press and its doctrinal commitment, which drives everything we publish. Please consider how you and your church can help offset the financial challenges Regular Baptist Ministries have incurred during this worldwide crisis. We need your support. Donate now and purchase RBP church materials.

Mark Johnson, Treasurer and Controller

It was a blessing to be able to participate in our first all-digital Annual Conference recently. With a shortened two-day schedule, it was a unique challenge to fit in all the features and announcements that we shared with our churches and to present them online in a way that we had not experienced before. At our annual business meeting, we were able to field questions and tally votes from online participants. God blessed us with a very successful conference.

At the business meeting, I presented a financial update for the association. Under the circumstances of the COVID-19 shutdowns, the finances of our ministry were significantly affected. We experienced a shortfall of approximately $1 million for the fiscal year that ended April 30, and losses have continued into May and June. Sales of Regular Baptist Press materials essentially came to a halt during the period of April–June. However, we have been able to mitigate the negative impact to a degree. RBP reduced expenses where possible, and through the Paycheck Protection Program, the association was able to secure a forgivable loan. Though we avoided layoffs, the sudden and unanticipated loss of revenue drained a significant portion of our reserves and placed us in a much tighter financial position.

Please continue praying for the ministry as we enter an important season this fall. It will be vital for churches to be able to resume in-person gatherings and discipleship. Also, please consider what you can do to support the ministry and help ensure its fiscal strength in this time of great need.

Manning Brown, Director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy

In the height of uncertainty, God’s love remains steadfast. Chaplains endorsed by the GARBC continue to serve and minister faithfully, providing counsel, comfort, and care by sharing the love of Christ. Please join us in supporting the ministry through giving and prayer, or even perhaps become a chaplain yourself. Find out more at

David Gunn, Director of Regular Baptist Press

Regular Baptist Press is pleased to announce next year’s Vacation Bible School theme: “Wonder World Funfest: Amazed by Our Extraordinary Savior.” In this fair-theme program, kids will experience a bustling fairground, carnival activities, and extraordinary exhibits, complete with rides, animals, and treats. In the Bible lessons, students will marvel at dazzling displays of Who Jesus is. Each lesson will highlight something about Jesus’ character as it’s revealed through the miraculous works He performed during His earthly ministry. Amazed by Jesus, students will learn to love Him and live for Him.

Chris Hindal, Director of Regular Baptist International

COVID-19 continues to spike in various parts of this country and affects many families in developing countries. Preventative measures like wearing masks and using hand sanitizer and soap are not readily available outside the US. And outside the US, people’s lack of jobs to provide food is even more devastating. Watch Regular Baptist International’s video “COVID-19 World Starvation,” and consider giving a gift to help brothers and sisters in Christ who are praying for food. Thank you in advance for your care and compassion.

Clare Jewell, Director of Regular Baptist Church Planting and Regular Baptist Builders Club

At the GARBC Conference we launched two new initiatives.

  1. The Timothy Project is designed to help churches develop leaders. See Timothy Project.
  2. The Church Renewal Project is a program churches can use to walk through a process to revitalize their churches. See Church Renewal Project.
