Christmas Eve Services

By February 11, 2008July 23rd, 2014No Comments

During the recent Christmas season, many churches hosted Christmas Eve services in which they reflected on the gift of Jesus Christ, and shared the gospel with guests from their communities. Each Christmas Eve, First Baptist Church of Arlington Heights, Illinois, hosts a quiet, reflective service that attracts community guests. This past December Kevin Mungons facilitated the Christmas Eve program, using “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols”—a meaningful compilation of Scripture, carols, and special music presented by children, teens, and adults. Pastor Bryan Augsburger gave a clear presentation of the gospel, and the service ended with candle-lighting and the singing of “Silent Night.” Does your church conduct a Christmas Eve service? Would you e-mail to us a description of your service and/or include the order of service? We will publish the descriptions next fall for your reference as you prepare for the upcoming Christmas church-ministry season.
