On Monday morning, Jan. 5, a fire ignited at the parsonage of Pastor Scott and Caressa Fennell of Tillicum Baptist Church, Lakewood, Wash. Fire and smoke destroyed the garage and all the family’s belongings inside their home.
“All personal items inside are lost, including anything from toiletries to furnishings/appliances, clothes, beds, food, etc.,” says Don Duty, representative of the Baptist Network Northwest. “The Lakewood Fire Department has condemned their home and they will have to rebuild, taking anywhere from four to six months. Let’s help them rebuild their lives. Praise the Lord, they are all healthy and safe.”
