Approximately 75 people registered for the event, and many guests dropped in from local churches and various ministries as well. Speaking on “Global Ministry for Local Churches: Creating a Missions Culture in Your Church,” he “challenged those in attendance to be about the business of training younger men and women for ministry,” says Dave Lunsford, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ferndale, Wash., and conference coordinator. ABWE was one of the many ministries represented, joining Regular Baptist Press, Bible Science Ministries, Moody Bible Institute of Spokane, and others.
