LETTER FROM THE INTERIM NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE

Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord Jesus!

I recently spent nine days in the greater Phoenix area and greatly enjoyed the cool, refreshing nights and warm—but not too warm—days.

Even more than enjoying the weather, I enjoyed the blessing of ministering at association churches in Arizona, Florida, and Iowa. I further enjoyed fellowshipping with several friends who are not a formal part of our association but who are fellow laborers of Christ with us.

Despite cultural demise, political chaos, wars, and rumors of wars, God is faithful to His promise: “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18, ESV).

Remember the psalmist’s words: “Blessed be the Lord, for He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city” (Psalm 31:21). The city in which we live is strong, but God’s mercy is marvelous beyond measure.

Continue loving and serving Christ, bearing fruit for Him in personal and disciple-making ministry.

In His Grace,
David E. Strope, D.D.
