Three Regular Baptist churches in Michigan gathered for an evening of worship and fellowship June 4.
More than 350 people from First Baptist of Rochester, First Baptist of Oxford, and First Baptist of Lapeer gathered at the Oxford church on a beautiful summer night. Pastors from all three churches led portions of a simple outdoor service, then everyone enjoyed food, games, and conversation.
“While this was the first time these churches held a combined service, they have been partnering together as members of the Bridge Fellowship of Michigan for many decades,” says Kevin Moses, associate pastor of the Lapeer church.
The leaders of these churches, Kevin says, “hope that this event marks the beginning of an increased partnership and fellowship for the sake of the gospel in their communities.”
