Pastor David King and chaplain Pam Russell (both center in the photo above) were privileged to attend the Indiana General Assembly in April.
David King is pastor of CrossPoint Fellowship Church, Jasper, Indiana, and a member of the Council of 18 for Regular Baptist Churches. He had been invited by Representative Shane Lindauer to open the General Assembly in prayer.
Pam Russell, a chaplain with Regular Baptist Chaplaincy, is the national director of women’s ministries at Capitol Commission. As a chaplain at the Indiana statehouse, she provides “Bible studies, prayer, and spiritual counsel with women from the mail room to the governor’s office.” Also serving at the national level, she leads those same ministries in all the state capitols.
In addition to her role as a chaplain, Pam is the author of three Regular Baptist Press books, including Beyond the Ballot: A Call to Pray for Your Nation.
